The Curaçao Ostrich is one of the largest ostrich breeders outside of the African territory. This farm exist since 1995 and consist of 20 hectare which the ostriches can make use of. More than 600 hundred ostriches are on the farm. From chicks to full-grown birds. The warm climate on Curaçao is ideal for the breeding of ostriches.

The ostriches on the farm belong to the African black neck species. Due to their compact build and large amount of meat they are extremely compatible to breed with.

Here on the ostrich farm on Curaçao we have an incubator room for the eggs and a shaded pen for the chicks. The chicks are in neat rows, arranged by size. Once they big enough they are located to an area for adult birds.
